The objective of CJS Research is to (1) provide a complete set of investment tools for financial advisors, trust officers of small/medium sized banks and investors who take an active role in the supervision of financial assets (2) give research and the economic, political and market insights into issues that impact their portfolios and the stocks in them.
Our investment guidance consists of three portfolio strategies:
- The Dividend Growth Strategy which is designed to provide a growing stream of annual income to an investor through investing in financially strong companies that have raised the dividend on their stocks consistently over a long period of time. Additional information on this strategy can be found on this website under Our Objective and Our Strategy.
- The High Yield Strategy which utilizes high dividend paying stocks as well as convertible bonds and stocks as bond substitutes. All of the securities we follow under this strategy provide yields close to if not better than long term Treasury yields. Hence, they maintain the income level required by the investor from the long term bond portion of his portfolio yet provide the upside appreciation potential of an equity. Additional information on this strategy can be found on this website under High Yield Portfolio.
- The Aggressive Growth Strategy is very similar to the Dividend Growth Strategy; that is, the objective is to invest in a growing stream of dividends (1) in companies that meet higher financial hurdles, such as return on equity, earnings growth rate, debt to equity ratio, than those in the Dividend Growth Strategy but (2) whose stocks provide a lower yield and have historically been more volatile than those in the Dividend Growth Strategy. Additional information on this strategy can be found on this website under Our Strategy tab.
We provide additional resources to the subscriber through:
